Jennifer Gibbs has been working with IBM's distributed database and information management technology at the IBM Toronto Software Development Lab for 12 years. She spent the first 6 years resolving critical customer issues in various technical leadership roles within the DB2 LUW Support Organization. During this time, Jennifer also co-authored a book entitled 'DB2 Fundamentals Certification for Dummies'. Following this, Jennifer held management positions in Information Development, Product Development and Quality Assurance. In 2006, Jennifer became the Senior Manager of the DB2 Function Test Organization. In this role, she led a global team of more than 150 Quality Assurance specialists spanning 6 IBM labs. In June 2009, Jennifer took on her current role as the Quality Executive Champion for the Information Management Division. In this capacity, she partners with the product teams across the division to ensure the high quality standards our customers expect are met - or more importantly - exceeded.

Jennifer was recognized with an IBM Toronto Lab Outstanding Leadership Award in 2005 and an IBM Software Group Management Excellence Award in 2007. Jennifer holds an Honours Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Windsor.
