Here’s another recent update from the tech world!
CES 2017: Intel’s Project Alloy Is the VR System I Want in My Living Room
VR has always been a popular trend and investment for tech companies. Minor annoyances, such as a wire at the back of headset and accidentally bumping into the wall of living room, need to be fixed before VR become the next “big thing”. Intel’s Project Alloy, presented in CES 2017, tries to solve these 2 issues. Instead of being “augmented reality” (AR) which augments real world with virtual overlay, Project Alloy converts furnitures captured in camera into objects relating to the virtual reality. The exact location might be different, but it definitely helps to avoid collisions with everything around.
