IEEE Hardware Hackathon

Design and innovate at IEEE UofT’s flagship event, the Hardware Hackathon! The IEEE Hardware Hackathon is a 12 hour design challenge themed around wireless technology. Just bring your ideas, and we’ll provide all the hardware you need to maximize your creativity!

WHO: ALL hardware enthusiasts, from beginner to veteran hackers! You will hack in teams of two, and you can pick your partner before or at the event.

HARDWARE AVAILABLE: The challenge will be based on the Arduino Uno and the NRF24L01 Transceiver. We also have a wide assortment of peripheral boards, sensors and other hardware components!

RESOURCES: Three professional hardware design WORKSHOPS on Arduino, circuit design, and embeded systems; a team of veteran hackers as MENTORS; a final SHOWCASE for you to show off your creations to our industry partners; and much more!
